Has anyone done any mods to the dedicated LPG version of the AUII etc?
Im wondering about all sorts of things, but even things like extractors, I wonder if there's a diff with the way they will work on these setups compared to standard cars. I tried to get info from JMM, but they didnt bother replying to my mail. |

if u wanna get in contact with JMM, call them.
its really the only way to get decent answers, as soon as u get an answer, u have another question.

i find when ever something is done to the engine i have to get the lpg retuned |

But I thought in these facotry gas cars that the ECU is handling it all and set up right. Are you suggesting I'd have to get an ECU remap with any change like that? |

ECU controls ignition maps, it doesn't control the LPG mixture (afaik)
i might be wrong but u may have to get this changed occasionally.. not really sure with the dedicated AU's :/

They're quite diff to a converted or dual fuel car. That's why I ask for info specific to this model.

talk to Joe @ Crescent Motorsports about your gas (02) 9600-6229..
mines straight gas, stage2 wade cam (Custom grind for the lpg), exhaust, extractors, etc, goes quite well. you can do as much on a gas car as a petrol car. |

You can get Pacemaker Race Series or standard ones, JMM, Hurricane, Lukey, whatever.. pacie and jmm race series are approx $600+.
Exhaust, as long as its mandrel bent their all the same, redback, supercat, lukey etc.. Try the small things, go Iridium Plugs from Ford (dont know part number but you want the xr6t FORD ones not the NGK or Bosch ones). Give you bit more power, noticed 8rwkw on the dyno from the things.. decent air filter, and your already on your way.. |

8rwkw compared to what? What brand/type of plugs gave 8rwkw less compared to the Ford ones? |

compared to xr or lpg plugs for lpg cars.
thats on a contant not peak on the dyno too, may obviously vary on car but thats what i got on a hot run. everything adds up i suppose, and reason i say from ford and xr6t ones (try thompson ford or ask Joe to order them) because they cost a LOT more elsewhere, $2-4 more ea. |
