Hello all you knowledgable people, I need your help.

I have a 1998 AU fairmont 6cyl with a bit of a heater problem. No matter what temperature I set the climate control on a cold day, I can never get any heat out of it. If I set it to 32 degrees on a 10 degree day, I still get cold air and the aircon still turns on. Heater hoses going in and out of the firewall are hot, so i believe the climate control is not turning on the heater valve or something. I'm wondering if the computer needs to be re-set, and if so how this is done. Any ideas would be of great help. Thanks heaps

your valve may be jammed.work it with ur hand and see.
get under the car get someone to go from 16c to 32c and see if the valve is released. if it aint and the valve is not jammed then look at computer.
see www.aufalcon.com for reseting computer properly some thing to do with the a/c or somthin

as said before, it also could be the blender which controls the amount of heat and cold coming out, sometimes it gets stuck and willnot move properly

it may jsut loosen up one day but ur prob guna have to pull the dash apart and have a proper look to see if it is working properly!
