Yes an AU MLS gasket is OK to use instead of the composite gaskets. Just make sure your block and head are cleaned properly and straight. The compression is raised slightly but any performance gains will be small on a stock engine. The main reason people use it is for reliablility, and then if they're adding boost to the engine.

As above, Fits straight on.
If you machine the head and use a AU MLS gasket and run pacemakers you 'can' ping on normal fuel due to the higher compression and non adjustable timing on EF's.
