always use the specs for the headgasket - so if your using an AU gasket go with AU specs.

As for the headbolts, if you buy new ones (which you always should) you will get AU ones anyway.

Torque should be on front of gasket, on the packaging somewere, or find a genuine Ford AU manual. Pretty sure the head bolts are the same, but best to stick with the EF ones I reckon if there not as the ehad and block are still EF. And the bolts can't be reused incase you didn't know.

You cant buy EF bolts anymore. The AU ones are the same, just a little stronger. Chances are if the gasket has been done before you already have AU bolts (they have threads that go further up the bolt)

1st step: 30Nm
2nd: +120 degrees

they are torque-to-yield bolts and wont need retensioning.

I second what TaraHymen said, those are the AU specs.

What gaskets does he use? IF different gasket would explain different torque settings.
