I have put a AU head gasket on my EF motor im putting in my EL and was wondering what to torque the head bolts to, are they the same as a EL gasket

No, torque to the gasket, not the engine.
Do a search, its been covered in alot of detail.
If you cant be f**k searching, I can't be f**k searching for you :P

I just recently did this....

1. 40 NM
2. 80 NM
3. 110 NM

of course done in sequence each time. Make sure you get AU head bolts as well.

not ideal with AU gasket and bolts. thats the crappy old style gasket.

Why use AU head bolts? I did it up 40nm plus 90degrees will that be ok?
