can you do a complete head and rocker assembaly swap of an ed onto an au engine and run an e series cam?, im assuming yes if simply swapping the rocker gear is enough.

The EF on had bigger ports.. BUT they had thicker heavier valves...

What we intend to do as we have 2 AU engines, an EDXR6 and ED GL 6..
We are going to change everything over onto XR6 head so it keeps it a Tickford engine...But EVERYTHING else is AUll... With good N/A E series cam...

Another car, E.D Fairmont turbo with AU engine..
We have bought another AU engine, we are going to fit Spool rods and C.P pistons, E.L valve gear so we can use a good billet cam!!
With some mild porting, most attention done on valve seats etc...

so im doing a turbo build,i had a el hybrid head and thought while im changing the head gasket to a 1.3mm mls gasket il put the hybrid head on my el engine i had in the car, with the hybrid head cam and rockers it wouldnt spin by hand,so i put the standard el rocker gear and cam onto the hybrid head with au valve springs,it spins but will this work, so to sum it up im using
hybrid head on el block, with non hybrid rocker gear and cam, will it work with the hybrid valve springs?

If you are talking about the conical/beehive springs it should still work sweet as. Did for me.
