I thought the cam and rockers were interchangeable provided that you use the same model cam and rockers. i.e. EF cam and rockers can go onto an AU head but you can't fit an EF cam to AU rockers, or vice versa. Is this correct or way off? |

I thought someone had tried that, AU head with EF cam & rockers but the rockers don't line up with the valves and the cam doesn't fit properly because of the thrust face?????????
Someone correct me.....

i have fitted an au cam and rockers to an ef head turned it over by hand but never ran the engine..
the only thing i would be concerned about is if the valve lengths were different.. |
