ive got au injectors in my ef i6... they go straight in... and supposedly give a slight torque increase so ive bee told because of the more even spray pattern with 4 pin holes instead of the ef injectors single hole..

on the flip side can i put ef injectors strait into an au? reason i ask is i'll swap mine from my ef into an old au out the back. i'm guessing it would be an easy swap?

when I was testing injectors for Jases engine the AU out flowed out sprayed & out performed the earlier types which tell me there not 19lb.
but yes you can use them in the eariler motors if you want but make the change warantable......meanning......... like no good putting a bigg cam in if you cann't make the head flow, or vicer vercer the AU 's atmoise better which ends up producing more torque, from our dyno runs..... Joe |

Does anyone know what a set of au injectors are worth and if they need to be from a non-VCT AU.

Reviving a dead thread here a little bit (just a little), but Joe just wondering if you could remember how much of a torque/kw difference the au injectors made in the ef Would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Jack.

Cheers, Jack. Bugger all power wise, they feel much smoother and give a better spray pattern. |

They will run richer (at least to bein with marginally) & the ecu will learn accordingly. I recommend in assisting this by also putting in a new oxy sensor. When the car goes WOT (eg your matting it) it will run rich anyway. To compensate for this, if it's a concern for you, the j3 is a good option just to lean it off a tad
