i have done this into a mates ef, basically you could use all the accessories off either an ef/l or au, just remember that you need to use the ef/l bbm cos the au ones are different.

for the fan info just get some wiring diagrams and run some new wires for them, just become a member of australian ford forums and download some diagrams from there.

cheers,
Tomo

the doco is alittle out of date..lol

but yes you can use the au alternator (may need to change the plug) ,aircon compressor ect. but if your wanting to use au aircon compressor custom hoses will need to be made up..

the reason for using the el ecu is it plugs into the eb loom and has the outputs for the bbm and the output for thermo fans.. you just need to add the wires to the ecu for the bbm and thermo control....

or you can use an aftermarket thermal switch to trigger the fans...

99% of the info is in the doco

dont need el bcm (is it a series2 eb with smartlock??) just need ecu from el as ef is different and wont fit..

and you need an ef or el manifold as the au manifold has a tmap sensor in the manifold and is not compatable with the el ecu and the el ait sensor doesnot fit into the au manifold..

in that case you can plug an el ecu directly into your loom and the car will start and run..

for the bbm and thermo fans to operate a couple of pins and wires need to be added to the eb plug..

the bbm is the manifold, (broad band manifold)
you need the
au engine.
au or ef/el power steering pump.(they are the same anyway)
ef/el manifold and throttle body.
el ecu.
ef/el bbm vac solinoid.
ef/el accelerator pedal and cable.
you can use au intake piping and airbox.
ef/el radiator. and hoses and heater hoses.
ef/el thermofans
you use your eb lower thermostat housing as its got the water sensors for the ecu..

you can use a ef/el aircon compressor, this way the eb aircon lines will bolt to the ef/el pump.
if you use an au arcon pump you will need custom lines.(au aircon pumps are s**t imo)

EF Fans and EL are different, make sure you use EL fans (2 plugs, EF have 3 plugs) with the EL ECU. You will also need the Dizzy from your EB, remove the gear from the Oil Pump dive and fit to your Dizzy, that way the gear will match the Aux shaft.
