okay.
ive modified the engine loom to suit the au motor and bbm, but the one thing im not sure about is the sensor directly below the throttle body on the top half of the bbm. im assuming its the intake temp sensor? the temp sensor for my xg with the log manifold had 2 wires coming out of it, but the au sensor has 4, 2 of which connect back into the tps.. im assuming that i can connect the temp sensor wires to the other 2? i think their blue and black with white stripe..
anyone else modified an xg loom to suit an au??

also that sensor on the back of the head.. thats the water temp sensor yes??
hope it is, because thats where ive ran the temp sensor wires to..

i should also add that id like to use the au serp belt setup, any problems with that?
i dont plan on working ac, but ill keep the pump there for the time so the belt has something to hang off.. as far as i can see it will clear everything and have no major issues other than wiring and working out some plumbing for the intake.. but im expecting a few hicups, first time ive swapped a motor that needs more than 3 wires to start :D

That sensor below the throttle body would be the map and intake air temp sensor. 2 wires going back to the TPs would be 5v+ and ground. The other 2 wires would be signal wires to the ECU for the map voltage and air temp.

Yeah the back of the head is the coolant temp.
