Hi
Wondered if you'd had to choose from a decent low km ef/el engine and a au engine for the ef what would you go with. Will be getting seals done on either engine and getting a xr6 au head either way with cam. How long can a engine sit before going into a car and how do you store one and what would you do to keep the oil going through. Is it worth getting a decent low km ef/el engine and a xr6 au head for it? Any help would be great Thanks |

If it were ME, I would go for an AUIII Engine (less klms) and get a head for an XR?
Might even be worth tracking down an AU XR motor? Which ever way you go, it will be a motor with high klms and so, unless you just want to put and old head on it and a used cam? New stuff would be really pointless, especially if you have a motor that has done +150,000 klms. |
