Do you want the VCT rocker cover or the standard rocker cover painted red? The VCT rocker cover might not fit as it has provisions for the VCT in the front. I'll have to have a look at the fairlane to confirm. You better off just getting the normal AU rocker cover, deburring the sharp edges and casting marks, then polishing it to perfection.

vct covers wont fit hes adfter the standard red cover, from an xr6 without VCT, i would imagine they are pretty rare. as a lot of XR 6's were VCT

Can of red paint $10- $15 dollars small can of clear finish $10 sand paper $1.20 each. 80,150,200,300 & 1200 grit degreaser $2.00 methylated spirit $1.99 grinder to remove the red paint of the logos & lines. expose the shiny aluminum underneath. then a nice protective clear cover to finish it off.

i got one off my ef that has slight paint peel, and i was tempted to polish it, but ended up buying a new red el one off e-bay.
it does wonders for the engine bay.
