does anyone have a schematic for series 1 au cruise control unit ? i have a mate who wants to install one on his ute and has ask for help anyone?

By schematics I think you mean the wiring diagrams?

And if so, they should be in the workshop manual.

what for?
the cruise wiring is a full ADD ON wiring loom.
VERY easy to install.

yes its a easy install but it still needs to be wired in ,hence in need of a wiring diagram/schematic

in my ef its not a loom its hard wired in but for a au in may be a loom add on but a diagram would help

for an AU.
u remove a loom.
and u plug another one in.
its a lot easier then the EF one.
i installed a cruise control setup in an AU not too long ago.
if u get the loom, its dead easy!

thanks effalcon we found the loom in a wreck out in the yard, sure makes it is easy with the right loom, thanks again
