ok so heres the story,
i got a dedicated gas TB and put it on my EF, didnt realise it was AU until old one came off, but i continued anyway. so first problem was TPS being different and plugs different, then ISC being in a different orientation. anyways, i made up some short joiners to go from EF to AU TPS plugs, one was labeled A B C and the other 1 2 3, so i matched them up A - 1, B - 2, C - 3 and hoped for the best. well it worked.. sort of. starts fine seems to rev ok, but when i took it for a test drive, it seemed as though it was in Limp Mode, then further down the road it got worse, acting as if it was stuck in first, revving really hard. my wiring is a temp job to see if it works, but was planning get a TPS loom from an AU and join into the EF loom. what i want to know is if anyone can shed some light on to why its acting as it is? have i got the wires wrong, or do the TPS's work differently? any help |
