Hi guys just a quick question.... can an AU tickford head be fitted to an EB 6 cyl engine... if there are any complications please explain what they are... i have been made what i think could be a good offer on one....i might take this opportunity to ask if $350 is a good price for it.. it includes cams, r/cover and timing wheel/chain

Thanks

Joe

im pretty sure it will bolt on fine. but you will need to convert it to coil pack and run and AU vct computer otherwise the head change is a waste of time.

A VCT wont just bolt on there is an oil line that has to be feed I am not sure if there is an extra spot on AU motor that feeds oil line but I know it exists.

If it was a standard Head it would fit fine My brother put one on his EF

you could do it, but have fun pulling a AU apart so you can swap looms to get the VCT to work properly

Yeah it would be to much of a f**k around... your better off sourcing an au xr6 non tickford head. Or buying a complete AU motor for it.
