Best thing Darren,
2 small issues though at the moment , one is a persistent oil leak from the rear of the sump, just a drop or two a day but enough to be a pain. The other is the knock sensor, I tried to use the AU one and it pinged like mad on petrol , I swapped the cable around and this made a difference but still pinged on hard throttle stabs. Last weekend I made an adapter up and put the old sensor back in. This works much better, no pings at all, but there is a distinct drop in performance in the 3-4000 rpm range it almost seems to die at 3000 and the pick up dramatically after 4000. The only thing I can think of is resonance of the setup where it is mounted at this rev range and its retarding the ignition, the solution may be to move it to another location, I hope I can place it nearer to where the original came from but I can't see the area with the motor back in. Perhaps you can check one out for me and see if there is a mounting point further back than the AU sensor position. I have an osciliscope and I will compare the outputs and see what the difference is in the sensors. It could be that some attenuation, filtering or damping may cure this. Cheers Tony.
