any things going to stop me??

You'd need a normal (non vct) AU cam + rocker assembly to go with it.

you dont need to change the cam assembly over, but to get the vct to work you will need a rpm switch to operate the vct solinoid.
you can put a vct head on any sohc 3.9 or 4.0l. its a straight bolt on deal, if you do it make sure you get the oil supply line and adaptor... to be honest, ive done it before and for a std set up it went quite well, but i still got more overall power by just using a wade cam and ditching the vct... |

you may get the VCT mechanism working, but the ECU in the car its going in wont have the correct tune to make the most of it?
