hiho, just wondering what would be involved with getting the AU VCT installed on my EA? (mpfi). the original 3.9 head has been ported and rebuilt with EL valve\rocker gear and cam profiled for bottom end torque. what would i need to make it vct? im guessing it just needs the electronic AU camgear?, would i need to use the AU cam?
ECU isnt an issue as ill probably just make up an isolated circuit to adjust cam timing configurable/vairable to the engines RPM, mainly wanting to keep the same bottom end torque with a bit more power up top. any ideas welcome

You will need to replace the head, rocker cover, rocker gear, PS pump bracket, serp belt, additional belt idler and cam all with VCT specific parts.

thanks for the info, is the serpentine belt needed to drive the cam sprocket? i thought the vct sohc was chain driven.
i have no idea when it comes to the au heads
