I understand that the AU Head gasket fits the EF engine but does anyone know if I by the whole VRS kit will all the other gaskets be the same?

Do I need to buy an AU head gasket seperately?

Were you getting your VRS?
It's only the genuine Ford AU headgaskets that are any different (metal)!
Aftermarket ones, such as ACL (which Autostores like Repco sell) are no different to E-series ones - that paper fibre stuff.

Yeah I will use the Ford genuine 3 layer metal gasket but they won;t sell me the EF top end gasket kit with the AU gasket. I have been told the AU engine uses different valve stem seals so I may have to buy all of the other gaskets and items for the EF engine then buy a single AU gasket.

I think I might buy and aftermarket EF VRS kit then a seperate AU head gasket from ford.
