Hey guys, I got a new car, AUII XR6 (build thread soon), and I was trying to put my green parkers in it when alas, the AU has bayonet style parkers, AFAIK it is just the wedge type parker all the way from XF-FG??? I've never seen bayonet parkers. I have looked around for AU parkers and on the net they all have pictures of the wedge style ones?

Any ideas?

Cheers guys.

I don't know what you mean, the bit that the parker plugs into is different (EB is Wedge style, AU XR is bayonet)

I reckon its pretty stupid lol, I think the reason for it is because the earth wire is separate from the positive which the bulb screws into, and it has to touch the chassis for the light to work, whereas with the wedge bulbs, the pos/neg are both connected to the bulb. It's still stupid though..

P.S. How annoying are the rubber covers that go over the lights, what was wrong with the screw on covers?
