lolz with a few good mods and a good driver they are easily the match of a stocker ls1. man my eb could hold em until 120. everytime, not just a once off.
an e-a series motor with good exhaust, cam, intake and flash tune will put out about 130- 140 rwkw ( 185-195 flywheel's) and a mighty good spread of torque for a 4ltr engine (roughly 400 nm I think at around 4000 rpm as a general standard hit and miss). weighing in at a tad over 1500 kgs, depending on model (my au is 1505 according to the stats) a manual gearbox and a 3.45 or higher lsd will see them even give a mild mod LS1 a pretty big fright. The top notch gearing low down torque and lighter weight means a lot and can fight outside its weight. Then again drivers can be worth +\- 20 rwkw

a 5.0v8 with 158rwkw will get eaten every day of the week by a 4L I6 with 140rwkw...
on the road from 0-100kmh, not many LS1s or LS2s(modded or not) can beat a modded NAI6 (cam/head/exhaust/intake) in our favour is, gearing, weight, low down torque... after 100kmh its a different story, thats when they start pulling hard, if u try to race them once you hit third gear you will more than likely get embarressed as they drive past you...

These were the only specs i could find on my mates VU SS. Says 15.2 1/4 mile. If thats right a modded I6 will smash it.

Just a thought on the SV6 dud. The au xr6 hp has 164kw and 366nm of torque, the sv6 has 190kw but only 340nm of torque. As for ...Dunkly the vct got 370nm and weighs bout the same. You should take him

Those fiqures might be different to other tests. My mates SS does go hard and doesnt feel like a 15sec car. Must admit it doesnt launch off the line that hard though. The powers mainly above 3.5k.
