Anyone got rwkw figure for stock au xr6? Got a few estimates from different shops for new power readings after various mods. Just wanted to know the increase over stock before I decide on one. Thanks

Thanks, was hoping round 110. I'll get a before run done when I decide which package and shop. 110rwkw is far from enough. Got my mates LS1 to deal with. Might need the Capa supercharger kit???

Not being a wanker...but my wagon makes mush outta VZ SV-6's and they hate it....only auto's though hav'nt tried manual .YET
As long as the LS1 is fairly stock. Exhuast, Agressive Cam (regrind or new, up to you) Different ratio LSD. If its a t5, even better........u should be able to stay near the f**k thing.....keepin in mind its 5.7l's of V8, 350 CUBES-over 100ci more then your motor.....a capa kit will surely do it...but are you prepared to make that choice?? it will be $$$$$$$$

Waiting for Crescent motorsport quote at the moment for zorst, extractors, cam etc. I already took an SV6 stock. They must weigh a bit. The LS1's got pacies and 3'' only (auto). Mines a manual makes a slight difference. Really didnt want to go the forced route but its me against a bunch of mates with holdens. What do you do huh?

a full exhaust system should see it at almost 120rwkw i would have thought being xr6 the au xr has a nice cam in it.

in e series unsure of au the xr cam is identical.

also in b series the xr has no more power than xt so id doubt that the au xr cam is different to any other cam.

Not that i dont beleive you on the BA puttin out 121RWKW.. it just seems awfully low. Ive got 158.1RWKW with only a few basic mods... i woulda thought it would be a bit higher than that!? :?

the dyno day will sort out the real power as long as they run it with the right correction factor as they ussually run it in shootout mode which give a reading of more than what the car actually makes.i have a few more than 105-120RWKW with just an exhaust on my VCT Fairmont. im yet to do many mods as i dont earn enough money.lol

Hi Guys, Id hate to burst anyones bubble but a few years ago i owned a ford 5.0v8 XR8 with 158rwkw and i raced heaps of LS1s. I had 3.9 gears in it as well. I always beat them off the mark and could hold off the stock LS1s but if they have any sort of decent mods, exhaust or edit they will pull away. the Ford 6 N/A would be no match.
