If a stock r33 turbo runs 14.3 down the quarter that means that i must be running atleast a 13.8-14 hahaha cause i raced old mate and he had nothing.....

Au xrs are a slow heavy, fuel guzzling piece of crap. Sorry to offend but its true{in stock form}My mate has a black xr8 ute that he is trying to sell because it sucks fuel and nearly gets shattered by everthing half decent on the road. Anyone Ford lover want it its for sale and got 17" tickfords lsd 8cyl tinted windows any offers around $10,000 Considered. Skyline will eliminate the XR no problems even and the guy who said the skyline does a 14.4 stock is completly right 14.34 i think to be precise not to mention 6.18 to 100 that leaves Au`s Xr`s for dead. Dont get me wrong i like fords but you cant compare in to the skyline as it will win hands down in every race{unless the guy cant drive. Why do you think ford put turbos on the ba`s? To give some real competition to other turbo models. Au`s are a smooth car good for towing but dont have much puff especially when pressed really just noise and watch fuel guage go down!!.

Sorry AU1 XR6 the guy in the Skyline cant drive or its not a turbo because his car will beat your car at any speed unless there is something drastically wrong with his vehicle. Ive seen skylines in action and they are fast really really fast especially when compared with a AU XR. I have an EL Ghia with tickford red motor with extractors, exhaust, filter, lsd and ive given Au XRs a fair run [=fat heavy ghia] for there money and any skylines ive run are a world quicker than any au xr ive seen and i lose so bad its really embarrasing. Get realistic mate AU XR`s are just Sloooooooooooooooooooooooooow unless modified. Ive seen a regular looking Falcon beat an XR6 once by a bit to im guessing around 80kph. Drive a Skyline turbo and then hop into your XR and then you will really know the difference.

Please let this thread die...

A WRX or R33 will eat an AU XR6, if you do manage to beat one because of "bad Launch" or was crap at shifting, you beat a crap a driver. He could've been in a ferrari and he would've stalled it on the line, He was a crap driver.

As for a forrester, I'd be interested in seeing it against a AU, NA it would be close indeed.

In the end they are still poofter cars! (forresters and skylines included...) Although I would own a R34 GTR before any new falcon on the road.
