Ride: 2000 ford au2 forte

Location: mandurah
WA, Australia

hey looking for help with my 2000 au2 forte, brought few weeks ago and cruise control worked perfect but got in the other day to go to work and it wouldn't switch on, no warning lights on the dash just when I try turn it on nothing pops up at all. any suggestions? cheers in advance

mines the same but my brake lights work

im thinking somethign to do with the clock spring as my horn likes to randomly honk

I'd say it would be the sender on the side of the brake master cylinder. When they fail that's exactly what happens.

Happened in one of my EFs, and they were the same switch / sender on a lot of Falcons, so I went to a wrecker and got one from a BA. Works perfectly now, cost about $5 and took all of 2 minutes to install.

brake lights and horn both work fine and I tried wriggling the switch still nothing
