love the Korean saftey shoes..
is that all the bend that is required in the sub frame? what you have done here is a much easier option compared to the sump mods that others have done. I would take the advise from twason and install a microswitch inline with the BBM as well. Does the VCT switch that same time as the BBM? I was not aware.

The VCT is designed to operate in the 1800 to 3500 rpm band so I am lead to believe, unless you want to add in a couple of RPM switches then I don't think there is a lot you can do apart from add in the AU VCT ECU. I am very happy the way it works for me just hanging of the BBM.

I would steer clear of the AU ECU in anything other than AU or EF unless you are doing a complete rewire. If I were you I would be going to the EL ecu and using the BBM output to drive the VCT. I cheated and installed a microswitch on the BBM to trigger the VCT.Hi Twason, Can you please give me some info what i have to change wiring! I got EL ECU (no wiring still looking at wreck). Do i have to rewiring under the EB dash etc? thanks

PM troyman he would be able to help you or look up his doco on AU motor into an EA with EL ECU in the technical documents section. As far as I know its almost plug and play, just need to add in wires for BBM , knock sensor and fans (you have smartlock?).

BroadBandManifold this is the intake manifold that has dual runners in EF I6's an on (Turbo excluded), the short runner path gets blocked at low RPM to give increased torque. At higher RPM (>3800) the short runner path is opened. The butterflies are closed by a Vaccum accutator to allow the long runners only.

hi
you can just add the required wires to the ecu plug and keep the eb loom this will help you get the bbm and knock sensor working with the el ecu. http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=85 |

After adding the bbm switch you will need to connect the green wire to pin 15 and the red wire is to be connected to 12v ignition. (I spliced the red wire into pin 57). (12v)
