hard to start can be dirty injectors, or possibly faulty fuel pressure, ive seen a AU that would lose pressure overnight and be a mongrel to start in the morning

Heyy Geoff, remember i mentioned to look at the fuel pump.....As macxr8 mentioned the dirty injectors could be a problem or a faulty fuel pressure reg-i have replaced a few of these on EF's and a couple of AU's.
Just check the vaccum hose off the fuel reg to see if it is leaking fuel into the intake, this would be a visible sign of being faulty and the other way to test the reg would be to use a fuel pressure/flow gauge, which i mentioned before.

Good to see your on the right track.

Cheers Bryan

yeah i do remember, well it seems to have fixed all my problems, but i think the relay is sticking or something has the car starts first pop but on the odd moment it just clicks and clicks then starts.

I am over it atm cause it is fixed in my books (until it happens a later on lol)
