doesnt happen alot but is starting to irritate me, on highway cruise at or above 100km it decides out of the blue to slip back into 3rd.

ive checked all the resistances on the inhibitor switch and theyre all within limit, the voltage is good to the switch.

my TPS only has 330 ohms throttle open when it should be 500, is this a big issue?

anything else i can check? cheers

the TPS should read between 0.55 and 0.85 at ignition on/car off, and running idle.

Should read 4+ volts at full throttle

Make sure you earth the multimeter at the negative wire in the tps sensor plug as it will distort the readings if you use the motor or chassis as earth. Also make sure the reading is the same when the ignition is on/car off and the car running
