Hey guys,
I was just curious, i should be getting my hands on an EF auto shortly, and was wondering - if I decided to change it to a 5 speed manual (if i happened to actually find one), would I need to also change the EEC-V as well, or can it be programmed to ignore the auto trans plug etc? Cheers

resister get solder on to a couple of the wires that go into the auto, cant remember which ones, its a simple process but my car still ran s**t with em, so i put a manual ecu in and worked perfect after that.

We have a complete ef Manual conversion kit here at the moment with Ecu
My car is still running on an auto ecu and runs quite fine with out the resistors - only reason why i would put resistors in would be to stop thermo fans. Its getting a manual ecu and loom however on monday night!
