Just get one heat range hotter for L.P.G. although since your is an XR6, your plugs should already be that compared to standard Falcons plugs. |

Have just fitted the Autolites and removed the Bosch super 4's and there is a difference.
Firstly, the response from the Autolites is better and there is more power there. I also believe the fuel burn is better, the exhaust does not smell as fuelly, as we all know EFI Fords run rich before EFI mods.

Well I do use them but honestly don't think there's much difference to a good set of plugs.
certainly nothing to get excited about or that you could tell in any blind test without a dyno and a lot of runs. |

I wouldnt pay too much attention to a few kws on a dyno. From the two dyno runs my car did on sunday, the second run was down 4kws... and it was within minutes of the first run

Yeh Spider GT with the wade 1604 cam and advance Extractors and 2.5inch low restriction system you can notice the difference.
Its only subtle but it is better. These were the standard ones also.

I've seen these plugs on ebay with mine the LPG plugs are projected gap plugs, they are physically longer than petrol plugs, tickford specify these for factory duel fuel cars ... i've had normal petrol plugs (but hotter heat range than petrol cars) and the engine is harder to start, when it's on gas that is |

You sure about that? From what I've read Tickford only specify to change the heat range (ie use the XR6 plugs) for the EF/EL LPG cars. If you look at the part numbers listed, there the same for both, except the one has a higher number signifying a different heat range. But since everything else is the same there the same physical size plug |

tickford specs from the supplementary factory dual fuel set up
"motorcraft AGS42CC for running in purposes then fit motorcraft AGS23CC, Gap 0.9mm vehicles operating continously on LPG require a colder range spark plug than vehicles running on petrol" replace spark plugs every 30,000km" ... mine have been in for over 60,000km now |
