You can also buy them over the internet from noelsautoparts.com.au or rare spares at wagga wagga. There are 3 models
standard type, platinum,& double platinum. Prices range from about $3 to $13 ea. for the double platinum. If have the double platinum ones to put into the xr6 when I recieve the mandrel intake from Ferntree Gully Auto.
I will post the outcome.

This must be a hit and miss kind of thing. I hear people raving about these plugs, but I have seen back to back dyno's of XR6 spec NGK plugs and Autolites and the NGKs came out on top by a rwkw. Was like 143 vs 142 IIRC.

I'm currentrly running NGK Iridiums in ym car. There actually physically a different size plug to the normal ones! which had me freaked out at first, but they run fine. I double checked the part number three times - on the website, in the book and got someone to ring em. I noticed no difference with em.
I'd be interested to try these Autloites, but with the Iridiums supposebly lasting 100,000km's, it won't be for a while.

I got my autolites coming next week. also worth checking the lead resistances to see that they are low.

Bosch have got some new sports leads out, anyone used them ?

I wouldnt mind giving these autolite plugs a go, i need a tune up done very soon so yeah wouldnt mind knowing if they suitable for LPG cars? Also whats the difference with the double platinums or whateva?

Ive got Eagle One 9mm leads but i know they are pretty new so its just the spark plugs im interested in :)

Ford XR6T (BA) Plugs are INCREDIBLY good, not the ngk, bosch or fords ngk iridiums.

Theres 2 types from ford, ask Joe to order them for you, definately worth it..

I tested 3 different sets of ngk plugs ion the au 6 a month ago and the results were amazing using the gtech. A difference of 1.5 seconds on 0-100 kmph runs.

I have not tried Autolites yet but am keen to do so.

Just because some crappy dyno shows 1 rwkw difference at top end the torque seems to be dramatically affected along the way to top end speed.

On a dyno day a little while ago I threw in the best performing plugs and actually lost 5 rwkws .Funny thoough because I knew that my 0-100 times were bettered by a full 1.5 seconds!!!
