Ok so I got to work today and the car decided it didn't wanna start. It makes no click sound it just has full reds but no turn over. I tryed swapping the relay with a head light one with no difference.i gave the starter a bash with a hammer and it made the click sound but still won't turn over. Tryed a battery pack but a flat battery isnt the problem.
Am I right to say my starter has died? Are they easy enough to change on the bf with the 4spd?
Thanks

If i recall correctly they are piss easy to change. Similar to E series.

Could be the ignition switch? they were a problem on BA's and it isn't the Barrel and Key but more likely a wiring problem where the electrical switch part attached to the back of the ignition Switch assy on the Steering column
If I were you, I would get along to an Auto electrician (if you are close to one) or find a mobile A/E in the phopne book or online?

Try measuring if power is getting to the solenoid when you crank the key. If it is then its the starter. Dont stress just yet.
If its not then worry.

You can get them from pick a part wreckers for $50 or less at least. Just a b**ch getting under the car doing it. :x

Silly question. How many wires go to the starter and what do they do
