Hi all,
I'm looking at buying a second hand falcon as a first car but reading these forums I have seen many people having the "milkshake" problem. I know these problems occur in the BA and BF MK1 falcon but I was wondering if this was fixed in the BF MKII or if I was to buy a BA or early BF would a bypass kit be a good buy although I do not intend on towing or anything as such that may cause 'Milkshake" problem. Cheers |

AFAIK the problem persists right up to the current FG. If you look at the "cooler" it is a crappy little thing, that bears the label: "Made in China" which I guess says it all.
Put a cooler kit on. The benefits far outweigh the cost: longer trans life, greater trans oil capacity, insurance against Ford cooler failure. Not hard to do, took me 4 hours. |
