...sorry downingj...it was more difficult to try and figure out how to start the engine and that's what put me and my mechanic off...mainly for legal reasons and I want my car to be road worthy. Bit hard unless someone can run the motor off a BA ECU with an edit which will be legal so long as the motor is put in correctly.
Since I have an EA in my driveway and thats not street legal...I mgiht as well make it into a project by either putting a BA in there or Turbo AU... phong =P~

what a smart a** i still need dosh before i can start either of them projects =( hey by raising the engine is the alignment with the transmission off? cause that was another problem with putting the BA engine into the EL...one way to cleak the K-Frame is to get it re-engineered...too expensive...or raise the engine up a tad but that would f**k up alignment. phong =P~

yer it will stuff up the alignment of the motor and gearbox but that where the uni's fix the problem.
it might sound dodgy but it will work

Is the tubing thing coming from the front, the piping from the pump to the sump?
If so can't u make a new one that may say...go around? split the piping into two smaller ones and then run them nice and tightly around? or is that just dreaming?

There is no room to do that.
The sump bolts into crank support. |

It looks like there is a bit of room between the pickup and the 1st main. You might be able to get 1/2" just by having the pickup coming in at an angle. Could also use thinner pipe (or flattened big pipe) for more room.
I wouldnt say it cant be done just yet anyway.
