Hi guys,
Mods feel free to move this i didnt know where to stick it.

Has anyone had trouble with their bonnet release, the cable from mine has come off the black plastic lever, and so now i have to pull the cable with a set of plyers to get the bonnet up - not ideal.

i can get the release lever off easy enough its just clipped to the bottom of the fuse box but this still doesnt giver me enough slack to a) see if the back of the release lever has broken where the cable used to join, or b) try squeeze the cable back in place.

has anyone had any similar problems, i wouldnt imagine this is a regular occurance.

if anyone has played around with their release cables then perhaps they know how i can detach it from the front of the car to give me more slack at the fusebox end.

cheers

this is a common fault with the BA's.

Go to your local ford dealer and they sell the complete kit for $35.
