Wrong and Wrong.

AFAI The stock Hi Series (S1 Fairmont.Lane, S2/3 all but XR and Ute) bonnet clears the DOHC, and you just use a BA/F ECU with security removed

What Mods will you be doing? Just stick with the B-Series ECU and a flash tuner! no aftermarket ECU can run the B-Series DOHC as good as the stock ECU, NIZPRO went from a MoTeC M800 on the 1000kw DOHC motor to a flash tuned stock ECU

ferntree gully auto did exactly what your thinking of, with the bonnet tho you can use the au one but you'll still have to cut out part of the underside bonnet ribs just to clear the top of the motor. then theres just a few brackets you'll have to make up for the throttle cable ect i think but after reading their thread somewhere i didnt think it turned out to be that, good luck with it all.

Well the mods will be including head work and cams and nizpro plenum bigger throttle body and i would like to run a bit of the giggly gas and have a anti lag setup  i would like to crack 500hp daily driver than flick of a switch run some more boost and sit on 700hp nicely
these mods will take time to do but i will be happy with the hard work and out come off it all
