BA engine or worked I6 ???

i am wanting to no i am thinking of working my elxr6 engine some more but then ppl say just go ba what you guys think

the ELXR6 has forged pistons, cam, ported head, bored block, hi performance crank, and at the moment it has two GT35R's on the side of it rated at 600HP each

at the moment the xr6 engine only pulls about 570bhp but i whant a engine that will pull about 1000bhp

like the nizpro one

Without telling everyone the specs on your el and the mods your planning on doing your not going to get a well informed response.

well the nizpro engine cost them only about 8g I was told all up. So 2.5k for the xr6t motor, 2.5k for extras/accerssories and fabrication of brackets etc to make it fit. lets be lenient and say 10k for 1000hp. Thats $15,000 on the engine fitted.

Maybe a beefed up t56 manual if it can handle that power (expensive). although you would probably wan't an auto of some type to make the drive a little more possible on the strip.

$8K wont cover a 1000hp build.

It wont even come close. They do all kinds of fancy stuff to the block to make that power.

ON the nizpro site they are saying upwards of $50K worth of engine work to get there.

thats what I would have guessed, 8k is what I heard from some1 from work, which is most likely wrong.
