I have a 2003 ba fairmont ghia that I am 90% of the way through doing an xr6 turbo conversion to. The engine is from a 2007 bf series 2 xr6 turbo and I have ran a ba 4 speed auto wiring loom and computer.
The problem I am having is that the dash is showing up with security code error and I imagine this is because the ecu is not working with the body control module. I'm not skilled at all in the ECU department and have had trouble getting any helpful information from the local dyno shop and the nearest ford workshop as to what I need to get the thing running. I asked ford if it was as simple as them hooking the computer up and pairing the bcm to the ecu and they didn't have much of an idea. If anyone could shed some light on the subject it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Need to be security flashed so the PCM & the BCM & the ignition communicate. Ford should be able to do it but you will need to get the car taken too them.
