Just a query to anyone that owns a standard 6 cylider BA. How many Kilometres do you get out of a tank. I've got a set of pacemaker extractors, exhaust fully done, and also XR8 air intake with highflow filter and i'm only gettin 480km a tank? just wondering what other people get?

I get about 440-450, you should be happy with 480! I mean you cant expect too much from a 4L.

i get up over 800 on highway and at moment only 550 -570 round town. trip computer sits around 13l/100km but this is bad for a ba. i've spoken to ford and have it booked in for a computer upgrade. there have been quite a few upgrades (patches) since the ba came out to fix problems as ford find out about them. a few are to do with the economy. mine also hangs on to 3rd until 75kph. i don't do a lot of stop start driving in mine though. missus mainly uses it to drop little one to school and do shopping. not stop start but short 5 min trips. hopefully when its fixed the economy will improve.

yeah my ef xr6 was the same - 620-650 round town and 900+ on highway.

ba's should be better than what a lot of these guys are getting. i wouldn't be content with 13+ l/100km. they should be mid to high 11's if in good nic. i guess if your in heavy traffic a lot it will be worse.

I have a 2003 BA XT with 70kms on it, and the trip says 544 when I fill it up with 91RON. It was really bizarre, I filled it up twice in the one week, and it said 544kms till empty both times. Made me wonder how accurate it really is, haha.

I clocked the second re-fill and got 570kms with 20 still showing on the trip meter. This is half on the freeway in Perth and half in town. The freeway was only going 60km/h as well.

Mine does about 11.5L/100km with mostly city driving and drag runs weekly, got an edit done though which throws things out a bit. At a Barbagello track day I calculated it averaged somewhere around 35L/100km.. nasty.
