Hey guys, so to finish off-I started reconnecting all the lower plugs-starting with the crank, oil pressure, knock sensors and then fitting the AC bracket on/torque then the AC pump and reconnect AC plugs. Then it's time to do all the injectors, coils, cam sensors etc....
with the cam or VCT plugs (which I can only assume the Tabs are brocken as every single one "IS" on every single loom in the country) all I do is push the connectors on put some sort of wedge behind it so it cannot move and put a dab of Ultra Blue where the broken Tab should be/once dry they will not come off unless you want them to,you should be able to work the rest out-but feel free to ask any questions, ohh the lift bracket I haven't done yet cause the bolt is spanner breaking tight but see pic FG lift bracket Barra ute, will add anything else I can think of later.

Anyway hope this helps someone.
Cheers Johnny.

Hey Papa Smurf,I think I am going with XR springs and shocks too as I have BA-XR wheels now, roads are too s**t to go lower,I just had to do brakes-didn't think of going bigger though (maybe one day) did front slotted rotors/bendix pads, rear generic pads and all new braided brake hoses, would love to see whats involved in the brake upgrade though, thanks again for your comments mate.
Cheers Johnny.

I have done the change twice and it was relatively easy. Once on my AUIII and on my mate's FG MKII.
The fronts just require new Discs (of course) and a new Outrigger for the calipers which can be had from Ebay for about $150.00 a pair ( I was lucky to get mine for $115.00 pr).

The Rears may require a little bit of work around on the backing shield but, not hard to do and the Calipers for the rear are used on a Territory and can be gotten from Ebay also for about $75.00 each. Pretty easy to do.

Hey guys, hope you all had a good xmas and great new year, just wanted to let you know I'm getting stuff sorted for tuning this to really get the full potential from the mods, hows this-dad asks "Is there anything you want for Christmas?),my answer was a joke/as I didn't want him to get me anything "A set of spark plugs" so my dad thinking/pay the joke back and actually buys me a set of Bosch double platinum spark plugs for Christmas which was awesome-and yes got him a present too!
So will be using the Bosch plugs and a new set of Machter Coils before I put the wideband sensor in and set up HP tuner for data logging and I'll update you guys later(may take a while as I'm only just learning how to tune)-may be able to get a dyno figure later too.

Cheers Johnny.

Hey guys, so I've fitted the wideband sensor-but I'm using the after cat 3:00 position in the hi flow venom cat/may scew readings slightly but being a hi flow It's not actually that much, calibrated the 02 bosch sensor in free to air before fitting and it's working really well, but haven't tried to set up HP Tuner as day Temps are between 35°/40° which is a bit bloody much so will wait till it's cooler, meanwhile the LM-2 has to be on and running/very bad for a wideband sensor to be in the exhaust system and not connected and heating,so have noticed it has gone as rich as 10 and as lean as 20 whilst driving.

Hey guys, just wanted to ask if anyone knows the difference between the BA/BF Inlet Manifold Control Solenoid is-it changes at 3800 RPM to short path ,trying to find out what RPM the FG's change at?
Have a feeling they may change earlier .

Cheers Johnny.

This is what VCMEdit has to say about the FG falcon Intake Manifold Charge Controller

I thought it was linear with throttle position, not sure why. Maybe because when i put an FG engine into a BA it created this really aggressive powerband at 3800rpm
