Can anyone give me tips on putting a b series gearbox and engine into a EL, Like do I have to change the whole wiring harness completely or just for the gearbox and engine?

first up ... do some reading/research 1st.
now that we have THAT out of the way.... do you want the motor as a "stand alone" ? |

Here is the full details, I've been having problems with my gearbox in the el for a year and a bit, then I lent it to my sister and she managed to blow the motor. My mate has a ba that got hit in the rear passenger quarter panel and got written off, but other than the damage to the body everything else is fine. So he is making the decision if he wants to give it to me or not at the moment.

As Mad2 has said do some research there's quiet a few good threads on here on doing the conversion and whats involved.

I take it that you have actually no idea what is required. It is no small job, and as has been stated already, there are a number of threads on here covering the install. Benj's thread post1439851.html#1439851 , and others. |
