It is the same setup as the ef onwards as in it has only one shoe. On the ba's although there is a hole in the rotor you cant get to the adjuster thru it. If you can get under the car above the tailshaft there is an adjustment on the cable. to adjust it you will need a small shifter and a 10mm spanner. but this is only a temporary fix.
On a side note if you decide to pull your rear rotors off and adjust it that way, the easiest way we have found at work is to disconect the cables at the backing plate so the shoe is backed right off. If you adjust it to far up you'll get a whining noise when reversing Hope this helps Andrew |

hi there i work for a ford dealership and handbrake adjustments are common as all s**t all u do to do it right is have the handbrake down back the cable of under the car till where it splits into to cable left and right till it about 10mm from the nut. the pull your calipers off and pull the discs off and adjust the shoes out so as when u put the disc back on and lever the banksia arm on the back u got bout a 6mm gap between the banksia arm and the backing plate then adjust ya cable back up so the banksia arms just move a fraction put your calipers back on and wheels and tyres and you should have a perfectly adjusted handbrak it should be anywhere betwwen 4 and 7 on ya handbrake lever all good now
