Why is it, that when you turn the icc around that it stos working. Ive read this in quite a number of posts but cant for the life of me work out why this is.

apparently it has a mercury switch inside it so when it goes past a certain point it will blow all your fuses in the car, it's a safety thing incase you roll it in a crash you don't have an ignition point for a fire.

not true - as taken from the workshop manual its because the audio unit can be damaged
