we have supplied the wiring from a ute without ABS

did you choose a UTE ECU without ABS because the Vehicle Speed Sensor runs off the transducer (i think)

I'll be watching this one too, I always wanted to drop a BA eng in my ef, altho I was thinking more along the lines of XR6 T... but I dont see that being very easy at all lol. Good luck with the wiring and engineering mate :)

Cheers

the ecu is a standard ecu and the box to remove the security is $595

This car is almost finished now. Owen spent the day today finishing off some wiring . the auto electrician couldnt believe the security could be removed so easy.
couple more issues to sort out but hopefully we will see a finished car soon

the BA motor is the same bolt patten as a AU motor

you can use an AU bell housing to pick up all holes
if you use a E series bell housing the lower 2 bolts wont line up

For the $4500 indicated i imagine you could get more power from an AU engine?

But that's not to suggest that people wouldn't still choose the twin cam.
