My god that EB is nice... :)

2 questions...

How hard was it to mount up that BA Instrument Panel (assume its all wired off the BA computer and would be probably be very hard to make work on a standard E series...)

And are the seats easy to modify to fit (Did you use factory holes)?

Thanks,
Tim

Hey Tim, Nah the BF cluster was easy to mount we just made a hybrid of the to clusters & wiring yes its wired to the BF PCM and its a piece of cake to do. The seatys pretty much bolted straight it all we had to do was make the rail holes a bit bigger & make a mount for the inner rear on both sides. Oh we also had to make a hybrid fuel sender unit for the fuel gauge, Just used a BF float & resister assembly on EB pump housing.

You got a BA rear seat in that too?

Thats remarkable that it was easy to do... EF/EL seats look like a major pain in the a** to get in... (new floor holes etc)...

You used BA rails or ED rails to get them to screw to the floor? Whats a set of nice BA seats worth... probably many hundreds I assume?

We used the BA rails, No the rear seat is just EF fairmont but a want to get it re-trimed to match the fronts. You will pay around $750-1000 for a good set.

I got BF XR seats/door trims for $550 on ebay.

not quite as nice as the seat above but certainly an improvement from the old gear :D
you can make the BA seat reat fit.. but retrimming stock stuff to match is probably easier.
just more expensive :P

That's absolutely spectacular! I heart your car, gives me inspiration. My car? It's going, but that's about it haha. I havn't even touched any of the turbo bits yet. Money is a bit thin these days and it's getting a bit disheartening :(
