I have a NA BA and it has been feeling wierd for the past couple of days. It feels as if my reel wheels are balled and they are slipping when I'm exelerating. I know it isn't the rear wheels spinning as the tread is good. So I am thinking maybe it is the trannies bands slipping. Not sure what the answer is if that is the case. But today as I was driving home it didn't really feel like the tranny but more toward the motor. It sounded like it was sucking then not sucking and sort of surging. Not sure exactly what this could be but I thought I would ask here before taking it to a mechanic who is likely to tell me any thing.

My missus was driving it today and she said it made a load clunk noise from the front end when she was excelerating past a truck. She pulled over and checked the motor but couldn't see any thing wrong so she re-started it a drove home but it didn't make any other noises. Any other ideas?
