Hi, Bought a Throttle position sensor of Ebay and tried testing it's Resistance as they normally very the resistance to adjust the output voltage when connected to the cars loom. This one does nothing resistance stays the same were ever it turned. The old one at least changes it's resistance as it's turned.

The one I bought I removed the back cover of it to find this shown below.
Has any one here have any experience with these sensor?

Found out today that this throttle position sensor is a Hall Effect sensor there is no contact parts like the old resister type sensor's.

I also did a google search and found info on modern Hall Effect sensor.

Fitted to the car today and works no problem's. Yet.
