I'm not the guy to answer this query really, but am interested in really helpful answers - Mainly as I have an idea lurking in head about putting similar unit into an EF one day. Ho hum. Probably will just go the AU route when time happens... Much more easy on the wallet

Think the engine mounts line up, but are too high meaning motor will sit out bonnet...
Think the computer needs to be moved over - and all that entails...
Think the sump is too big at front so frame under motor will need to be removed, chopped, welded and replaced...
Think you should grab the fans and all the bolt ons while you're around the BA...

Sheez...

Hi and welcome to Fordmods.

Firstly, please do not use capslock. It is considered to be the eqivalent of shouting.

Secondly, we do have a search function, which while not perfect, should have given you some info regarding your question.

Thirdly, to answer your question.

The engine will bolt in relatively easily. There are some issues with bonnet clearance, but nothing unsolveable.

The difficult part is in getting it to run. There is no cheap option at this point. Successful conversions to date, use the BA ECU and associated components (flyby wire throttle etc) and require a lot of expertise in manipulating the BA ECU.

You will need deep pockets if you want a turn key complete project. Somewhere between 5 and 10 thousand dollars.

If it were cheap and easy, we all would have done it by now and I personally will have a go at it one day.

Check these threads.
