Hey guys, I've been looking for a LSD to go into the XT.

Found this, $700 + $160 freight to Brisbane.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-FALCON- ... 43aa8bdfd9

This will fit straight into the XT right? The seller mentioned something about tailshaft flange being different.

It's the complete assembly, shouldn't make a difference right?

coupling flange from diff to tailshaft/driveshaft is different from M78 to M86 diffs.
so you will then have to get a tailshaft to suit the flange.
then you have to get a gearbox output shaft to suit the yolke on the front of the tailshaft. found in the xr6T/xr8 boxes..
or get your yolk put onto the other tailshaft if possible.

probly ezyer to find a ba xr6 n/a diff.

Cheers benny. that helps more. How much would it cost to get the tailshaft changed to suit?

What about this one?

Says it came from a stock BF XR6, only 90,000km done.

when i was getting the xr6T diff put into my car i rang everyone and nobody had ever heard of it done or being possible.. useless fuks.
was when it got put in i found out all v8s have a M86 diff standaed so it went straight in no worries.. lol bastards..
