heys guys ive just brought a 2004 ba xr6 with 170,000 k's
and the heater dosent work at all.
ive read the sticky on it already.

my hym is working i can hear it moving and see the white notch thing turn altho it sticks out a fair way like about 20mm.
which seems to mean it is disenggaged, dose this mean its broken?
or has it just worked its way loose.
if so can i just simple use a screw driver and gentley push it back to reengage it??

Does any body know anything more about these issue's with the ba heaters?

i know theirs a little flap somewhere that switches makes the hot air to run through and its not uncommon for it to break, do a bit of a search you should get some good results, im not much help as mine hasn't broken yet.
