i've always wanted to take my EF II XR6 to the next level.
i am currently looking around for a BA XR6 Turbo engine to convert to my EF. I know you can fit the BA XR6T into an EF with modified brackets, etc. as it's all been done before. But could you fit a BA XR8 engine into an EF? I'd love some feedback on this topic because I've seen a few BA XR6 conversions into E series, but I have not seen an XR8 conversion. I want something different, and definatelly unique. Cheers.

As far as i have read, and as nice as it would be, the 4v Boss V8's are a MASSIVE lump of metal and for that, aparantly, will not have a chance in heck fitting between the narrow towers of an E-series Falcon / Fairmont etc....but that's what i have read

yeah that's what i've read too, the V8's are just too big.
i've found a few BA XR6T engines for around $5,000. I'll be getting that under the hood with a stage 6 capa performance kit. which gives you 400kw + should be a good little project!
